Vensters is one of the most anticipated
events of any student’s university career. It’s a colourful night filled with
music – and don’t you dare to forget about the dances performed by all the
first years of the University of Stellenbosch.
Vensters is a fundraising event organised by
the MAD² committee that attracts more spectators than any other event in the
welcoming period. All the other events in the welcoming period actually lead up
to this exciting event. The aim is to impress the judges and spectators by
performing dance routines and an interesting story line
performed by a few main characters. But to us, the first years, it’s all about
working together, having fun and making new friends. I think it’s safe to say
that every single lady of Serruria had the time of their lives on that Friday night
of 31 January 2014.
Ons was
